BBC apologizes to Trump, rejects defamation claim

The British broadcaster's chair sent a letter to the White House to make it clear that 'he and the corporation are sorry for the edit of the president's speech,' in reference to a documentary aired last year that implied the US president had directly urged 'violent action' before the assault on the Capitol.
