Hong Kong media tycoon Jimmy Lai convicted on national security charges

A Hong Kong court ruled pro-democracy media mogul Jimmy Lai guilty of foreign collusion and seditious publication on Monday, in a case that has drawn condemnation from Western countries. Lai's legal team said they would study the ruling before taking further steps.
